Day 256 | Trolly Sweep

Prompt: Which store would you choose for a free 10-minute trolly sweep? Where would you head first? Write a list of all the things you would fill your trolly with.

Stephanie | I am tied with three different places I would want to sweep. 1. Craft store, I love me some craft supplies. 2. Antique store, so many sweet one-of-a-kind finds. 3. Clothing store, my wardrobe is in desperate need of updating and filling in since I have hardly any items in my closet. The clothing store sweep would be the most beneficial to me, provided I found items that fit properly.

Annetta | If I only had 10 minters to go to any store I wanted it would have to be the Antique Rose Farm in Snohomish, WA. I like to take my time when I shop and not be rushed, but when it comes to roses, I know what I want in less then 10 minutes. I'd buy all the David Austin roses I could afford in those 10 minutes and fill my yard and later my house with roses.

Day 255 | Favorite Mug

Prompt: Draw or paint your favorite mug or cup.

Stephanie | One of my favorite cups is this cute little tea cup. I found it at an estate sale, the tiffany blue color is what caught my attention. It has a delicate white floral border and silver touches, it also has a matching saucer.

Annetta | I have many favorite mugs and cups. When I say many I really mean many, which I try to use every single one of them. This one is just awesome! It's my tea cup because it big and holds lots of black tea in it. Isn't the girl holding the camera SO cute? It's me! This cup speaks to my photographers heart and was made by the talented White Peach Pottery

Day 254 | Want

Prompt: What do you really want?

Annetta | I want to live a full, meaningful and beautiful life.

Stephanie | To find peace within myself and to stop the battle that marches on in my head.

Day 253 | Responsibilities

Prompt: What are your responsibilities and duties?

Annetta | One of my responsibilities is to grow, to grow as a person, as a wife, mother and friend. That takes many forms, which includes reading, having quiet time and taking care of my health. When I grow I learn, have more grace and slowly/painfully become a better me.

Stephanie |  "Everything in your life is your responsibility."

Day 252 | Current Project

Prompt: Share a project you are currently working on.

Stephanie | My current project outside of the journal is home-school. My oldest Syri just started kindergarten last week today is our 5th day schooling at home. So far the lessons have been easy and we are flying right through them. I am thankful for the easiness of it all right now as we get into the swing of it, but I hope that does change, these lessons are below her, even my 2 year old Shealynn knows this stuff. I am thankful that Syri has been excited about doing the lessons, especially math, and she has been enjoying the school process so far.

Annetta | I always seem to have some sort of big project I am working on. This my failed external hard drive its been hard to work without all my images that I've gathered over the years, but I still find things to do. Today I worked on painting a few notecards for a group I'm part of called Pursuit31.  It felt so good to paint again as I haven't watercolored in many weeks. There are some seasons where I take breaks from my crafts and it's always such a joy to pick them up again.

Day 251 | Would You Regret

Prompt: What do you think you would regret not doing, experiencing, being or having when looking back at the end of your life?

Annetta | I want to cherish who I am, how I look! If I do not cherish myself now, I know I will look back and wish I had valued myself, saw how truly beautiful I really was. I watch my mom, who is very beautiful, regret not seeing her own beauty when she was younger, even a year ago. She now sees it when it is too late in her eyes. I can't change, my features, I want to be proud of them. If I won't value who I am and how I look then who will do it for me? It is my job to love myself and to love how I look!

Stephanie | One thing I would regret is not traveling. Its something I have always wanted and in a way feel its something I need to do. I need to see what else is out there, explore and experience things away from home. It's something I value so much, that I don't feel I have a choice, I must do it.

Day 250 | Guilty Pleasures

Prompt: My guilty pleasures are...

Stephanie | My guilty pleasures are mostly watching TV shows. I don't have cable anymore so I watch whatever I can find on Hulu and Netflix. I watch shows when I finally have down time and just need to zone out. I have become hooked on Pretty Little Liars, Gossip Girl, and Switched at Birth.

Annetta | My guilty pleasures are cross stitching while home alone watching movies like North & South with a glass of sparkling apple cider or a cup of caffeinated coffee. I try to do this frequently (maybe 4 times a month) as it the best kind of rest time for me. I love to cross stitch, but I like doing it while watching a good movie or show. If I could I'd do this all day! Once in a rare moon when I go on a trip with my husband I need to go a day ahead and this is what I do in my hotel room, it's so glorious!
