Day 187 | Sunday

Stephanie | Sawyer wanted to help style a photo.

Annetta | Today we ended our 5-day hiking vacation. I am exhausted! The ride home is always so scenic here in Slovakia.

Day 186 | Saturday

Annetta | It was the last full day of our hiking vacation. We decided to take a 10-mile route that involved walking up a stream, ladders, and waterfalls. No one walked away without wet shoes.

Stephanie | Trying to take it easy today.

 

 

Day 185 | Friday

Stephanie | Harvested the first artichokes, cucumbers and peppers today. Made our first pickling batch. Hubby styled the basket so well when he went out to the garden.

Annetta | We ditched a hike today and went into the town for some ice cream, but then we got caught in a summer storm.

Day 184 | Thursday

Annetta | Woke up to a rainy day so we had to wait out the storm before setting out on our hike.

Stephanie | Webinar this morning. Working on getting myself healthy.

Day 183 | Wednesday

Stephanie | Worked on getting some things handled, re-homed our rooster, bought tin roofing for a chicken coop. And still just in shock from yesterday.

Annetta | Our first full day in Slovensky Raj and our first all-day hike. Grandparents only made it halfway which is pretty impressive.

Day 181 | Monday

Stephanie | Haven't done much since getting home from vacation. I always need a few days to recover after a big trip.

Annetta | I've been planning on making Kimchi for months now so when it's time to pack is when I finally decided to get it done. It's my favorite thing to eat at the moment.

Day 182 | Tuesday

Annetta | Today was Tin's last day of school so he brought my garden roses for his teacher. It was also the first day of our hiking vacation where we hike every day for a week. Wish me luck!

Stephanie | Today we watched our neighbors house burn to the ground. We are so grateful that our home was spared in the process. The crews worked quickly to prevent the spread of the fire in the fields. The whole house went down in under and hour.
