Day 219 | Thursday

Stephanie | A wooden boardwalk along the cliff side, surrounded by wild lupine, a salty breeze and waves crashing along the rocks, perfection.

Annetta | After lunch we drove four hours back home. This year was a short year at the summer cottage, but very much special in many ways. 

Day 218 | Wednesday

Annetta | Today was all about photoshoots. I took a few country self-portraits and then had a photo shoot with all the cousins. We had an 80x50 canvas printed of the kids and will hang it up in the summer cottage. 

Stephanie | Had to leave the beach and go home. So sad. The beach is our happy place and its been so hard being so far from it in California.

Day 217 | Tuesday

Stephanie | Spent the whole day at the Mackericher beach and have the sunburns to show for it. Someone forgot to bring the bag with sunscreen. Oh well, we had lots of fun.

Annetta | I'd say that the evening for the kids was total fun. One reason we come is to give the cousin's an opportunity to connect.

Day 216 | Monday

Annetta | Today was  spent crocheting, enjoying the warm weather in the garden and slow summer walks.

Stephanie | We made it to the beach. Our happy place.

Day 215 | Sunday

Stephanie | The most giant hydrangea blooms ever, gorgeous!

Annetta | We arrived in Budolov, my husband's family's summer cottage and we will be here until Thursday.

Day 214 | Saturday

Annetta | I needed to pack for our summer cottage and then we went to our annual family gathering in Zabor. 

Stephanie | Movie night after a full day of finishing up some projects outside.

Day 213 | Friday

Stephanie | Working on trying to get everything in order. We got a beach trip and school starts soon.

Annetta | Today was a full 9 hour workday for me as it's the end of the month and I had deadlines to submit. Afterwards my husband and I went on a date and walked along the river at sunset.
