Day 105 | Tuesday

Stephanie | So, I haven't posted in a few day. Been a rough few days for me. I will go back and post to the days I have missed. Trying to deal with ALL the things and the unmet expectations got me in a depressed state which took a few days to climb out of. I was lucky to get a call this morning from Annetta to check in on me and pray over me, I had a much better day today.

Annetta | It's cold today, there are piles of laundry to wash and hang dry. I am thankful that for the second day in a row my son spent his whole day running around our complex (with a mask on) playing.

Day 104 | Monday

Annetta | Unlike my husband and son I had to go back to work today. Between my tutoring lessons, I worked in the garden to rid my rose of aphids, made pizza from scratch and worked on my new colorful scrappy blanket. Slovakia is a little backwards and today was the official Easter holiday.

Stephanie | Worked out in the garden today for a bit, added to my sunburn. Finished pulling all the weeds out and planted some seeds we have ready. We also got my sewing machine working again, so I can resume mask making.

Day 103 | Sunday

Stephanie | Went and surprised our friends here this morning my 'egging' their house. We filled plastic eggs with candy and hid them in their yard secretly for the kids to find. Worked out in the garden for a but and got sunburned.

Annetta | Happy Easter everyone! I weird thing is that in Slovakia Easter is tomorrow and not today. We enjoyed communion as a family and a church via Zoom Chat. I also started a scrappy blanket to use up some of my yarn and I am in love!

Day 102 | Saturday

Annetta | Today I had a strong urge to deep clean our house. We cleaned out the windows from the inside out as a family and there are a lot of fall windows in our house. Now, what else can I clean?!

 

Stephanie | Built a bean trellis for the garden today.

Day 101 | Friday

Stephanie |  My sewing machine broke. Right in the middle of making all these masks. I feel very defeated by everything. All was fine until I needed to wind my bobbin and it yelled at me and I don't know what to do. But I the pressure to finish the masks keeps building.

Annetta | It's officially Easter holidays here in Slovakia. I forgot to take days off so I work both Friday and Monday (the official holidays). It was hard to focus on work when my mind was on celebrating what Jesus has done for us, luckily we managed a walk outdoors.

Day 100 | Thursday

DAY  100!

Annetta | Despite us being stuck at home it still feels like a holiday and a holiday worth celebrating, Easter. With that feeling on my heart, I've been spending a couple of hours a day deep cleaning portions of our flat. With the time left over after cooking, cleaning and working I've sneaked a few rows of my new summer top.

Stephanie | Got all our school work done a day early and turned in. Officially on Spring Break now! Which feels amazing to not have so much school looming over us. Now to finish up my giant stack of masks and begin getting some massive yard work done during our time off.

Day 99 | Wednesday

Stephanie | Today was a bad day for me. Ive been disappointed in how this whole quarantine thing is going. I had a different vision and for the past few days was feeling defeated. My expectations have let me down.

Annetta | I had a pillowcase I started last month and the goal for today was to finish it. I didn't finish, but all in all, it was a very productive day.
