Day 213 | Friday

Stephanie | Working on trying to get everything in order. We got a beach trip and school starts soon.

Annetta | Today was a full 9 hour workday for me as it's the end of the month and I had deadlines to submit. Afterwards my husband and I went on a date and walked along the river at sunset.

Day 178 | Friday

Annetta | I love where we live! It's a short walk to a really good ice cream shop and a good way to spend time together.

Stephanie | Went for a sunset walk on our last night here. The meadow was so pretty and the horses and cattle were near the pathway. We spent some time petting and feeding the baby horses.

Day 177 | Thursday

Stephanie | Beautiful walk through the meadow, followed by a lunch date with the hubby and some late night swimming.

Annetta | It's been a busy week of photoshoots! Today's my last one for the month and finally, the weather was nice.

Day 169 | Wednesday

Stephanie | Got a sweet little snack from the garden today!

Annetta | To my surprise I finished my photography work quickly today which gave me some time to cut up some clothes for a scrappy quilt.

Day 160 | Monday

Annetta | Onto week two of school and a couple more weeks to go.

Stephanie | Thankful for some coffee today.

 

 

Day 159 | Sunday

Stephanie | Got some garden work done today. I love being able to work together as a family in the garden. Cleaned up the tomatoes and harvested some onions.

Annetta | It was such a beautiful and warm day today just perfect for a bike ride for ice cream.

Day 158 | Saturday

Annetta | My husband and I got to enjoy our first date night after months, but so many people missed out on so much more.

Stephanie | Today will be a busy day trying to get stuff done before we head out for vacation. Hubby works next weekend, so this is the time to handle the big stuff before we go. But first, so coffee. My sister surprised me with this cute mug, I just love it. 

Day 157 | Friday

Stephanie | Today was non-stop since the second I woke up. Trying to get projects done along with errands, and the massive wind came ripping through and messed up our shade cloth in the garden. Trying to reattach it while the wind is blowing like crazy and made me sore and worn out.

Annetta | Today was my final rest day. I continued reading so that I can finish my book. Also, this is the third cake I've baked this week.

Day 156 | Thursday

Annetta | Do to some kind of pinched nerve on my shoulder, I took a day off from work to rest and read.

Stephanie | Today was the official last day of school for the girls. Last day of 5th and 2nd grade. Syri is now technically a middle schooler, (how can that be??!) but her current school goes through 8th grade, so no school changes in the fall.

Day 155 | Wednesday

Stephanie | My flowers are coming along nicely. The dahlias are getting so big. We also had a flower that decided to re-seed itself and is taking over any empty dirt patches it can find. It adds some whimsy to the garden and I love it.

Annetta | My rose garden brings me so much joy and saves me SO much money!!

Day 154 | Tuesday

Annetta | I was my own model for work today. As of now, I work for three different companies and on them has nothing to do with photography. 

Stephanie | This morning started off rocky, but I got to talk with Annetta for a bit, work on my quilt a little, and my giant dahlia is fully opened. 

Day 153 | Monday

Stephanie | I feel like I am constantly taking 1 step forward and two steps back. Also, I keep loosing pictures I take. They are on my camera as I am shooting, but once I put my SD card into the computer the images vanish. This keeps happening more and more and I don't know why. It doesn't make me happy.

Annetta | The day just flew by today! I made my coffee, worked, and went to a chiropractor, boom my day was gone.

Day 152 | Sunday

Annetta | I spent my Sunday working to finish a deadline for work. I managed to finish it and bake a cake too!

Stephanie | Spent the day cleaning up and running errands. Tried to find a part for our water pump, but was unsuccessful.

 

Day 151 | Saturday

Stephanie | Harvested the first zucchini of the year. Today was supposed to be a lot more productive, but we all were pretty beat from our time in Lincoln yesterday and from being woken by a massive thunderstorm early this morning. We managed to tidy the house a bit and rest. Hoping tomorrow is better.

Annetta | We went to Nitra where my husband's family lives to celebrate the niece's birthday we missed last month. It takes us an hour to get there. Picking fresh strawberries from the in-law's strawberries patch was the best. Soon there will be cherries.

Day 150 | Friday

Annetta | Today's photoshoot was in Old Town and it didn't rain!! Most of the people I photograph are people I've never met so it's always a fun way to meet new people. Today I met 4 wonderful ladies from various parts of the world.

Stephanie | Spent 5 hours waiting for our car to get new tires and an oil change. The shop is an hour away, so we spent the day killing time. We shopped a bit for decor for the kids room, had a picnic at the park with some tree climbing, and found the most charming book store.

Day 149 | Thursday

Stephanie | Finishing up the last bit of school work today and we will be done for the year. The last day of school is not technically until next Thursday, but all work must be turned in on Monday. Since we have an appointment scheduled tomorrow, I figured we would get it done and over today.

Annetta | I had a photo shoot today with two sisters at my flat. The house wasn't cleaned in time and I chose not to be embarrassed over my messy house. As a working mom who is homeschooling and cooking all of our meals there are just some things I have to let go of.

148 | Wednesday

Annetta | Another 12 hour workday for me and a couple more to go. The glamourous life of a photographer is spent hours behind the computer editing. I still love it.

Stephanie | Just trying to play catch up. Schoolwork, housework, it all gets out of control especially when you have big projects that take all your time. 

Day 147 | Tuesday

Stephanie | After a long weekend of painting, miscellaneous projects and a very late night, its a lounging in bed kind of day.

Annetta | I started working at 9 am and finished at 9pm. It's been a full day tutoring, photographing, and editing. Tomorrow I take a day off from photography work because I worked through the weekend. My models were so wonderful today.

Day 146 | Monday

Annetta | Did a little bit of photography work, well a lot of it actually. I spent my day booking three photoshoots for this week, creating moodboards for the models, and also took a few pictures of myself.

Stephanie | It's Memorial Day and Aloni is sleeping on my Americana quilt top. Seems fitting for today. 

Day 145 | Sunday

Stephanie | My first ever dahlia bloomed. I was so excited to plant these bulbs in the garden, I have loved them for so long but never had any of my own. I planted them so quickly that I didn't even realize they would be this deep purple color, I thought I only had yellow. So I was extra happy.

Annetta | Sunday's have been emotionally challenging around here sometimes. This Sunday was one of those days, but we headed to the park with our church family which helped a lot.
