Stephanie | Captured this picture while trying to use the self-timer. I hit the button but not the timer button and got this. Too funny.
Annetta | Took a day off from my photoshoots today and knit after my usual working hours. Staying home is getting tough because I am daydreaming of Italy, Greece, and all the romantic destinations for our 12-year anniversary coming up.
Annetta | Lately it's all been about photoshoots for work. Had another one today and yes they are all Christmas themed this month. I am sure my neighbors are wondering why we have a Christmas tree up.
Stephanie | Sawyer and I were trying to use the self-timer on my camera. I love how imperfect this shot is, and we are together and smiling.
Stephanie | Still no power for the school, but we have ours back on, so its a free day for us. Good thing, I am beat after our crazy full weekend. I need a day of nothing.
Annetta | I felt a little rebellious today and went for a walk. There are just time when you need to get out of the house for fresh air.
Annetta | All I will say is timeshift. The sleep-in was nice, but the getting dark at 4:30pm isn't so nice.
Stephanie | Power is still out, so there is not school today. Hubby also took the day off. Did some errands in town to kill some time.
Stephanie | After church today we had a little playdate with our friends. Just as they were leaving our power got shut off due to high winds and fire threat. The girls tried to get in a quick game before the sunset.
Annetta | My morning started with my doggy spilling my coffee. Luckily, it was a chill knitting Sunday as we can't go anywhere anyway.
Annetta | It's photoshoot day today. I am thankful that I am in lockdown with one of the models or else this photoshoot would have been beyond stressful!
Stephanie | Opening day of duck season. The girls are helping dad get all his hunting gear together for his hunting trip tomorrow.
Stephanie | Worked on building the goat pen some more today. Getting T-posts in super rocky clay is quite difficult.
Annetta | My last outing before Slovakia goes back into lockdown for some weeks. I needed to run errands.
Annetta | Today I needed a walk alone which gave me an opportunity to forage for the photoshoot I needed to do for work.
Stephanie | Picture day and a dentist appointment. Sawyer was the first kid to need a filling done.
Stephanie | Lots happening today. Mostly me feeling overwhelmed with trying to get 3 kids washed and ready for picture day tomorrow.
Annetta | Met up with a dear friend. We went for a nice long walk to the park, had breakfast, and picked up some flowers. It was a perfect friends day out!
Stephanie | Today we made some Halloween cupcakes and watched Hocus Pocus and Nightmare Before Christmas after school.
Stephanie | Another Monday. Another new week. Sounds like we are getting close to opening the school back up part time though.
Annetta | We decided to keep the kid home for the time being. It's daily walks for us if the weather is nice.
Stephanie | After church we went to Home Depot to gather the items needed to build a new goat pen.
Stephanie | Just a girl and her Lego's. She has to have them, at all times!
Annetta | It was a bummer of a Saturday. I worked, cleaned, and cooked. I also decided to take back my new camera and get a different model.
Annetta | It's been a quiet Friday at home. With all the rain coming down and flooding around Slovakia we didn't really go anywhere or do much of anything.
Stephanie | So happy its Friday!
Stephanie | Feeling inspired by these dried rose petals.
Annetta | Went on a photography walk with my sweet boy. Trying to keep him active while he's at home from school.
Annetta | I find the original cinnamon roll recipe disgustingly sweet. So today I tried a less sweetened version, but just as delicious. I'll be making these again in the future!

Annetta | Today my husband surprised with a package. In that package was a new-to-me Canon 5D Mark III. We've been talking about an upgrade from my 7 year Canon 7D, but I had no clue he actually got one!
Annetta | I gave myself a semi day off. I did work my regular job, but then I ignored all my other tasted and started a new cardigan.
Stephanie | Another Monday, the most chaotic school day of the whole week. Zoom classes or Google Meet in the morning, then work drop off/pick up at noon, then the day begins with the weeks new work.
Stephanie | These beautiful roses wilted too soon for my liking and I have since left and forgotten them. I looked at them again today and thought they were still so pretty even while sitting in moldy water, yuck. I snipped the buds off and have them sitting in my prettiest dish to have a 2nd round of beauty
Annetta | I decided to start a Sunday sewing project. I received some wool that I will slowly sew a winter dress with. I'll keep you posted!
Annetta | We haven't seen the in-laws in such a long time so we met up at an outdoor space, the arboretum. Fall showed off for us a little and I love it.
Stephanie | House cleaning and grocery shopping today. Ended with a beautiful sunset, glad I ran out to capture it.
Stephanie | These silly hens are laying eggs in the middle of the driveway and sleeping under my roses!
Annetta | I went on a walk in our neighborhood. It was just the perfect fall day and my heart was super happy that it was outside exploring.
Annetta | My life is bible study right now. If I'm not studying for it then I a meeting up with the wonderful girls. Thursday are our day of the week where we meet and chat.
Stephanie | Some new roses are blooming outside. Pretty pissed when I took pictures only to find my SD card didn't save them and I had to re-shoot my images. Technology is frustrating today.
Stephanie | Some birthday goodies. Mums rocking the fall vibe and little buttons and some hand drawn illustrations from my sister.
Annetta | Today's main goal is to catch up on the bible study. I think I am 2 or 3 days behind. I cozied up in bed to make it something special.
Annetta | Somehow I got food poisoning in the evening. No one else in my family did, just I did. Aside from that, it was Stephanie's birthday!! Happy birthday my beautiful friend!
Stephanie | Another year older. Hopefully wiser as well. This little girl kept trying to lick the frosting off my cake. Photo credit from my oldest today :)
