Day 212 | Thursday

Annetta | Sent my cute kids to his grandparents for the weekend. I also doodled in my art journal. It's been so long since I've drawn anything in it and my kids at work inspired me.

Stephanie | Fried green tomatoes for dinner. I've been waiting all season for this day!

Day 211 | Wednesday

Stephanie | Aloni came out with me to the garden tonight. She was trying to attack the water under the beans.

Annetta | I had a photoshoot after work and while we were out shooting I found my second four-leaf clover! Always such a delight to find them.

Day 210 | Tuesday

Annetta | Today I took the kiddos to the pool as it was a wonderfully hot day. We also got some ice cream and ended our day with a barbeque. 

Stephanie | Trying to catch up. I've been MIA for a while, my apologies. I have every intention to get my post done each day, but then I don't for various reasons, I am not feeling very inspired.

Day 209 | Monday

Stephanie | My model. She cracks me up!

Annetta | My son had some friends over for a summer sleepover. Our day revolved around that.

Day 208 | Sunday

Annetta | It was a relaxing Sunday. I had time to knit on my new shirt and then we watch AFV together as a family.

Stephanie | The irrigation water has disappeared from the ditch allowing the girls to climb over and pick some blackberries.

Day 207 | Saturday

Stephanie | Trying to find the beauty in the day.

Annetta | I have been feeling overwhelmed lately, but to my surprise, I was able to get lots of work done today.

Day 206 | Friday

Annetta | It was Tin's last day at horse camp until August. It also was the perfect day to finish cleaning the house before the weekend.

Stephanie | Worked on cleaning a bit and some laundry. Boring.

 

Day 205 | Thursday

Stephanie | Wanting to be crafty today, but not knowing the proper technique is so discouraging.

Annetta | My goal today was to clean the house. I only got halfway through my tasks because knitting is very distracting at the moment.

Day 204 | Wednesday

Annetta | I LOVE my long hair, but after coloring it on my birthday I've seen it get damaged and tangled so much. Today I chopped it up a bit to get it restored and healthy again.

Stephanie | Definitely need coffee today!

 

Day 203 | Tuesday

Stephanie | Got to have a coffee date with friends. It was so good to be out of the house and visit. We walked the church garden, it was bursting with flowers and veggies.

Annetta | I took a much needed day off today and enjoyed all the things that I now don't have time for.

Day 202 | Monday

Annetta | After work, we went on a little family walk around our neighborhood. I just LOVE summer!!

Stephanie | Beautiful roses bring me joy. I love having flowers in my home, I love looking at them and smelling them throughout the day.

 

Day 201 | Sunday

Stephanie | Testing out hubby's new grill with some home-made pizza.

Annetta | We stayed at my husband's grandma's house for the night. Before heading back home we dropped her off at the summer cottage.

Day 200 | Saturday

Annetta | Today was my friend's wedding day and I had offered to do their wedding video as a gift. 

Stephanie | Went to a local u-pick farm and got us some goodies. Will be making some jams with the blueberries and peaches.

Day 199 | Friday

Stephanie | Harvested and devoured our first watermelon of the season. 

Annetta | Traveled on a train with my friend to a wedding for this Saturday. It was nice meeting her family.

Day 198 | Thursday

Annetta | Taking a few moments from my day to crochet has been rare these days and much enjoyed. It was a photoshoot day for me, but crocheting was my favorite.

Stephanie | Trying to be thankful today in the midst of all the craziness.

Day 197 | Wednesday

Stephanie | Had a helicopter flying over our house this morning, just kinda circling around for over a half hour. A little later it was flying over the whole area up here. Not in a grid, but just randomly. I couldn't tell if it was the power company checking the lines due to all the fires lately, or the police looking for a suspect, no idea. But we did get to see the International Space Station flyover at sunset.

Annetta | We've been walking 3 miles every day this week, but we walked 3 miles today plus went out for dinner so it was the perfect date night for us. My kind of romance!

Day 196 | Tuesday

Annetta | Evening walks with my husband are so romantic. Usually, my son doesn't like to go with us so we don't go, but this week we've walked every single day up to 3 miles. So happy!

Stephanie | The well guys were out early this morning and got our pump fixed. yay! Also took the girls to the dentist, found out I have a fever, might explain why I have no energy lately, must be fighting something. 

Day 195 | Monday

Stephanie | Spent most of the day in bed. Hearing about many fires in the surrounding areas. Its about 100 degrees with no relief in sight.

Annetta | Working 8 hour days really leaves me with little time for any fun, but since Tín is at camp my husband and I can enjoy long evening walks.

Day 193 | Saturday

Stephanie | Was able to get someone out to look at the well pump and confirmed the pump is broken and needs to be replaced. Was finally able to get a hold of someone to fill up our tank, so we have some water again.

Annetta | Coffee in my new cup and a new summer shirt knit by yours truly. It's just missing a sleeve.

Day 194 | Sunday

Annetta | Today my son went to camp for a whole week. Luckily he's got his friends with him. I pray he has a great time and experience.

Stephanie | It really has been a chore for me to get up and do anything. Some light housework and then a nap. I just can't shake whatever this is.

Day 192 | Friday

Annetta | We needed to pick up a wellness paper from Tin's doctor so we made it into a day trip and went to Piestany to hang out. After living there for 2 years it's always a favorite place of mine to come back to.

Stephanie | The baby chicks are getting big. We ended up having 11 chicks hatch and survive.

Day 191 | Thursday

Stephanie | Both the AC and the water pump decided to stop working today. It was 100 degrees with no AC or showers and it doesn't look like the water will be fixed till next week. Super fun.

Annetta | I've been married for almost 12 years and wished my husband grilled, but he doesn't. Today was our first day grilling like EVER and it made my dreams come true.

Day 190 | Wednesday

Annetta | Today was spent working. I went from one job to the next. Between teaching lessons, freelancing in photography, and learning videography I have been staying pretty busy.

Stephanie | Woke up in a bad mood and the day only got worse, spent most of my day in bed watching shows. 

Day 189 | Tuesday

Stephanie | Spent the whole day sorting papers to get our emergency binder situated. Really didn't accomplish much except make a big mess in the dinning room.

Annetta | Yesterday Tin wasn't feeling good and during the night he developed a fever. Today was a rest day for him. Also, I ate a whole jar of kimchi all by myself.

Day 188 | Monday

Annetta | We needed to go to the library for new books so we made it into an outing and had crapes for dinner.

Stephanie | Spent most of the day pulling paperwork that needs to be in an emergency binder. After the fire scare last week, I need to dedicate some good time this summer getting things organized and in order. We are not at all prepared for any emergency situation.
