Day 181 | Monday

Stephanie | Haven't done much since getting home from vacation. I always need a few days to recover after a big trip.

Annetta | I've been planning on making Kimchi for months now so when it's time to pack is when I finally decided to get it done. It's my favorite thing to eat at the moment.

Day 182 | Tuesday

Annetta | Today was Tin's last day of school so he brought my garden roses for his teacher. It was also the first day of our hiking vacation where we hike every day for a week. Wish me luck!

Stephanie | Today we watched our neighbors house burn to the ground. We are so grateful that our home was spared in the process. The crews worked quickly to prevent the spread of the fire in the fields. The whole house went down in under and hour.

Day 180 | Sunday

Annetta | Our first church service!! We did a picnic in the park and it was so good!

Stephanie | Browsing antiques while in Sisters Oregon.

 

Day 179 | Saturday

Stephanie | Our completed quilt tops. My friend Amber and I made matching quilts last year during our vacation, and we did another this year. The Granny Cabin Quilt.

Annetta | What a wonderful Saturday. The weather was in the 30c's! We went on a hike with friends and then on a date. It was the perfect Saturday.

Day 178 | Friday

Annetta | I love where we live! It's a short walk to a really good ice cream shop and a good way to spend time together.

Stephanie | Went for a sunset walk on our last night here. The meadow was so pretty and the horses and cattle were near the pathway. We spent some time petting and feeding the baby horses.

Day 177 | Thursday

Stephanie | Beautiful walk through the meadow, followed by a lunch date with the hubby and some late night swimming.

Annetta | It's been a busy week of photoshoots! Today's my last one for the month and finally, the weather was nice.

Day 176 | Wednesday

Annetta | I recorded a mini film for our online church service. I'll be doing the verse mini-films weekly now.

Stephanie | Worked on some quilting today and took a nice walk after dinner. This place is so beautiful. I feel very blessed to be able to stay here for a whole week.

Day 175 | Tuesday

Stephanie | Beautiful day today. Walked around the town of Sisters Oregon. Picked up souvenirs, played games, and worked on our new quilt today.

Annetta | Another day, another photo shoot and so much editing to do! Luckily it was a sunny day today after a week of rain.

Day 171 | Friday

Stephanie | Doing all the last minute cleaning and packing for our trip. Vacation starts tomorrow!!

Annetta | Friday's are for date nights with my husband. We went out to Modra and also managed a movie night after our date.

Day 174 | Monday

Annetta | My husband saved my photoshoot today. We enabled me to be both the photographer and model for today's big shoot. Some models had to cancel which required me to take their place. Thank you amazing husband!!!

Stephanie | Went swimming today. Sawyer was so brave and swam all over the pool. She even jumped in all on her own without someone catching her.

Day 173 | Sunday

Stephanie | Learning a new hobby while on vacation. English Paper Piecing. Its super easy and relaxing and uses all my little scraps of fabric.

Annetta | Every year we go cherry-picking at the in-laws garden. This year it rained a whole week before we got to go so most of the cherries were moldy, but we managed to get a basket full still.

Day 172 | Saturday

Annetta | My son had a friend's birthday party to go to today, which gave my husband and I time to shop for s new vacuum.

Stephanie | Happy to be on vacation! This is our 2nd year meeting up with our old Washington neighbors in Sisters Oregon. Looking forward to seeing our friends, quilting, and relaxing all week.

Day 170 | Thursday

Annetta | My friend came over to spend the night so that she can finish her thesis. It was fun to get a few giggles in between her studying and my work. 

Stephanie | This rose bush is just so beautiful. I love the creamy orange, pink, and yellow blend. How amazing!

Day 169 | Wednesday

Stephanie | Got a sweet little snack from the garden today!

Annetta | To my surprise I finished my photography work quickly today which gave me some time to cut up some clothes for a scrappy quilt.

168 | Tuesday

Annetta | Today was a stressful workday for me, but I worked through those emotions and managed to get a bunch of things done.

Stephanie | Eye appointment for the kids today. Looks like 1 girls eyes have gotten better with her new glasses.

Day 167 | Monday

Stephanie | A new baby chick hatched today. The girls were being lazy with collecting eggs from the coop. When they did go out to collect eggs, they discovered a broody hen sitting on them. Long story short, she is in a nest on 21 eggs. Not sure if any others will hatch, but we have 1 successful and unexpected hatch.

Annetta | What a stressful day full of too much work. Luckily some of that work was around town.

Day 166 | Sunday

Annetta | We left the weekend retreat right when ALL the storms rolled in and it stayed stormy the rest of the day.

Stephanie | Went to church for the first time since this quarantine started. It was nice to gather again, but I am not a fan of having to wear the masks. Also, things are coming along in the garden.

Day 165 | Saturday

Stephanie | New roses blooming. Makes me so happy.

Annetta | On our hike, Tin made a little friend. He usually doesn't touch frogs, worms or lizards.

Day 164 | Friday

Annetta | We went on a weekend church retreat in the Tatry mountains.

Stephanie | After leaving the house today to gather some items for our trip, I came home to syringe feed the sick goat. He was so weak that he ended up choking and passing away this evening. We was everyone's favorite goat, I even helped him during his birth. Very sad. You can see a cute picture of him here. 

Day 163 | Thursday

Stephanie | The sick goat saga continues. Dealing with a sick goat and a hen on eggs unexpectedly has me really behind schedule this week. Trying to prep for our vacation and all these issues has me really stressed out.

Annetta | I got to go out to eat with a dear friend of mine. I loved all the laughs we had.

Day 162 | Wednesday

Annetta | It was a nice rainy day at home today.

Stephanie | Franklin is still not well. Its exhausting taking care of him and trying to treat him even though we don't full know whats wrong.

Day 161 | Tuesday

Stephanie | Today was spent being a goat nurse to baby Franklin-stein. Last night we found him not willing to walk, so we brought him in for the night and tried to look up what was wrong. I though for sure he was going to die, and at one point he was very close. I was able to bottle feed him and love on him and by the end of the night he was eating and walking again on his own.

Annetta | Today has been a lazy and sleepy day. When there is no work it can be my favorite kind of day, but alas!

Day 160 | Monday

Annetta | Onto week two of school and a couple more weeks to go.

Stephanie | Thankful for some coffee today.

 

 

Day 159 | Sunday

Stephanie | Got some garden work done today. I love being able to work together as a family in the garden. Cleaned up the tomatoes and harvested some onions.

Annetta | It was such a beautiful and warm day today just perfect for a bike ride for ice cream.

Day 158 | Saturday

Annetta | My husband and I got to enjoy our first date night after months, but so many people missed out on so much more.

Stephanie | Today will be a busy day trying to get stuff done before we head out for vacation. Hubby works next weekend, so this is the time to handle the big stuff before we go. But first, so coffee. My sister surprised me with this cute mug, I just love it.
