Day 31 | Friday

Stephanie | Another sick kid. Another trip into town to see the doctor. Another prescription to pick up. At least we have made it a whole month already with daily pictures.

Annetta | Today... I've been emotional, my husband comes home, the house is a total wreck and I left ALL my work for the last day. Time to put on my big girl panties and get it done!

Day 30 | Thursday

Annetta | I spent my day crocheting the border of my second 'Year to Inspire' blanket. My days feel very bland and routine. January has been going on forever, but summer flies by in a week.

Stephanie | Today was sunny and warn. Sawyer and I spent some time playing outside. She was captivated by her rolly-polly bugs and would scream "this is incredible" when they would uncurl. 

Day 29 | Wednesday

Stephanie | Today is day 3 of our 3-day fast and prayer for church. The first 2 days were great, I felt good, I was productive, and felt a sense of peace within me. Today however, feels like every other day, hopeless. Praying for a breakthrough!

Annetta | It randomly started to snow today. A forecasted sunny day turned into the biggest flakes I've ever seen in my life. Some of the flakes were 2"!

Day 28 | Tuesday

Annetta | Today's goal was to give my body a rest and do as little as I possibly could. Aside from my regular part-time hours at work I napped and knitted on my Girlfriend's cardigan.

Stephanie | 100 year old Shea for the 100th day of school. We had fun dressing her up as an old lady for school today.

Day 27 | Monday

Stephanie | We started a 3 day Church fast, which for the kids means no screen time. She spent so much time out with the goats today and we pampered ourselves with some fresh nail polish, then she curled up on the couch and fell asleep.

Annetta | My schedule is very full for a Monday. With my part-time job I balance photography and today I had a photoshoot with a cute little Mrs. After work, I get to take my son to his Parkour practice.

Day 26 | Sunday

Annetta | After church we invited a sweet couple to our place for lunch. It was a fun time getting to know them and playing games. Also, I miss coffee I've cut back on it by 75%. It's just a tiny teacup for me now.

Stephanie | When everyone's been battling a cold all week and Friday night hosts a Girl Scout event, Saturday is for appointments and errands, Sunday is Church and goat chores, the kitchen ends up throwing up on itself in all the chaos. Not my favorite.

Day 25 | Saturday

Stephanie | Chirpy, our all white ameraucana chicken. The girls realized she looks like the old guy in Jurassic Park, so now she goes by John Hammond, or Hammy. She has the funniest personality, she refused to lay her eggs in the coop and prefers this tipped over flower pot or tucked into some tall flowers, she also likes to frequent the roof of the house or coop.

Annetta | It's Saturday and we didn't go anywhere or didn't do anything. I just worked on finishing up these Clover Tights that will be a gift. I really hate low-key Saturdays because I stay home all day during the whole week already.

Day 24 | Friday

Annetta | The gray-ness of January had been tough. Today was another very gray and dark where I pretty much caught up on my knitting projects. Capturing the pretty things around me makes it better.

Stephanie | Really ready to not be sick for an extended amount of time. Dealing with cold after cold the last 2 months.

Day 23 | Thursday

Stephanie | Feeling sick again after stepping foot in the doctors office yesterday. Was up 2 hours before my alarm this morning. I'd love to just crawl in bed a stay there the rest of the day.

Annetta | Today's project and focus of the day was joining the squares of my second Year to Inspire crochet blanket.

Day 22 | Wednesday

Annetta | Picking up this crochet blanket after some time. It's much-needed work during these cold winter days.

Stephanie | Had to take my oldest into the doctor, but it meant going into town. I grabbed my camera for a photo that's not goats or kids :) Found this adorable outside cafe tucked behind a black wrought iron gate covered in vines and flowers. *swoon*

Day 21 | Tuesday

Stephanie | Me: "oh shoot, I still need to take today's picture!" Shea: "Just take one of me." ....OK!

Annetta | It's been a foggy, frosty and a bitterly cold day. Despite all of that I wanted to go for a walk with my camera and capture the frozen, foggy world. I froze, but it was worth it!

Day 20 | Monday

Annetta | I am feeling very lazy lately with very little motivation to do anything. I did manage to pull myself together and cleaned up a bit around the house.

Stephanie | This long weekend was meant for getting work done. Today I was struggling with a photo opportunity, but I looked over to see a new flower bud on my plant start. Found this broken off at a nursery recently and he seems to be happy.

Day 19 | Sunday

Stephanie | Sunday worship at church, Sawyer and her friend Chris play this a special hand game together. He's so sweet to her, and she just adores him.

Annetta | The snow showed up in a couple of flakes, but mostly gave us a rainy day.

Day 18 | Saturday

Annetta | Today went by too quickly! We have snow in our forecast for this evening which we are all excited about, but most of our day was spent at home and running errands.

Stephanie | Finally got myself a new yearly planner. I have a feeling its going to be a crazy year, so many commitments and responsibilities.

Day 17 | Friday

Stephanie | Today was all about running errands and getting jobs done. Car wash, groceries, power wash the front porch and sleepover with friends.

Annetta | It was so frosty, foggy and freezing outdoors today. I think that 28F is just too cold for me at this moment.

Day 16 | Thursday

Annetta | My son had testing at school today so he didn't need to leave at his usual 7:30am. We spent the morning helping him with his homework as he's had a bit of it lately.

Stephanie | Beautiful sunrise turned stormy pretty quick. Checking on baby goats prompted a splash in the puddles.

Day 15 | Wednesday

Stephanie | Woke up to this mess this morning. Feel like its a good representation on my life right now.

Annetta | Today was such a lazy day and I let my thoughts go deep.

Day 14 | Tuesday

Annetta | It was 28F today and I had a maturity shoot. I went from a photoshoot to my desk job and then onto editing. Ending my knit with knitting sounds glorious. 

Stephanie | Obsessing over plants at the moment. They are obsessed with dying on me.

Day 13 | Monday

Stephanie | Not sure I have a caption for today. One of those days where it goes from bad to worse.  

Annetta | The birthday celebrations are over for now and onto our Monday. My day was spent answering emails, scheduling, and tutoring. It's so gray outside that napping all day sounds like a good plan.

Day 12 | Sunday

Annetta | Today was church day. After church, we had my son's birthday party at a Jump Arena. We were there from 1:30pm to 5pm. I ended the day by finishing knitting his birthday sweater.

Stephanie | Our baby goat 'Small One', the runt of the litter, passed away in my arms early this morning. I also put out a fire in our goat barn. It would have been quite disastrous if I hadn't seen it when I did. Lots of emotions today!

Day 11 | Saturday

Stephanie | Early morning sunrise. We spent the whole day nursing a baby goat back from death's door.

Annetta | Today's my 36th birthday. My sweet husband gave me a gift of a salon session where I colored my hair, trimmed it and added bangs.

Day 10 | Friday

Annetta | It's my son's golden birthday today. We went to his school this morning to bring his class a strawberry and chocolate cake while we shared stories about him. It's pretty special how his teacher sets up birthday circle time.

Stephanie | My 4 year-old has mastered the art of making Mom coffee. Shes also an expert at sneaking sips too!

Day 9 | Thursday

Stephanie | Getting lots of computer work done lately. Officially took on the social media and graphic design work for church.

Annetta | I am what you would call in the knitting world "on sleeve island". My son's 10th birthday is tomorrow and I have been knitting him a sweater. I plan to finish this a sleeve today. That's all I've been doing today and hope to start the other sleeve tomorrow. 

Day 8 | Wednesday

Annetta | Finally waited out the long lines at the post office to pick-up a package that made me cry when I opened it! It's Stephanie's quilt from A Year to Inspire 2019!!! Can you imagine my surprise? Guys, this quilt is AMAZING! Stephanie, I will cherish this and thank you isn't enough.

Stephanie | Any time I go spend time at my Gramma's house, I always leaver her a little love note to find after my visit. Over the holidays, she left one for me.

Day 7 | Tuesday

Stephanie | She came home from school with an upset tummy. Snuggles in moms quilt seem to help.

Annetta | First day back to work. First-day of physical therapy for the next 10 days. It was really nice to get out of the house and enjoy the sunshine, but it was so cold!
